YOUR ATTORNEY

Michael’s commitment to immigration law began at home. His parents taught him what it means to show up for others: his mother spent more than 30 years advocating for victims in Denver, and his father dedicated more than three decades to community investment banking and regulation. Their example gave him both a deep sense of responsibility to his community and a desire to put that responsibility into practice. As the son of an immigrant from Mexico, he also feels a personal connection to the families who turn to him for help.
During college, that desire grew into a calling to serve immigrants. It led him to Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he chose to study because of its immigration program and began helping immigrants through its legal clinic. That work brought his purpose into focus: using the law to stand beside people facing decisions that could shape their families’ futures. Today, he carries that purpose into his work as an immigration attorney, bringing a personal commitment to the people behind each case.
Michael’s experience includes family-based and humanitarian immigration applications, client interview preparation, and representation in immigration proceedings.
At Martinez Law, the focus is on understanding your circumstances, explaining your options clearly, and preparing your case with care.
